Portobello and Joppa are famous for their promenade and beach promising a great day out for people from across the city. For a family day out, or even just a stroll along the front, certain facilities are expected, including public toilets. And they are not just for visitors; a survey from Portobello Community Council found 90% of residents felt that it was ‘very important’ to keep the facilities open.
