On Thursday 12th November, you will have the chance to send the SNP-Labour Council a message that enough is enough.
In Craigentinny/ Duddingston, the SNP-Labour Council has cut the 12, 15 and 69 bus services but continues to fritter money away on costly vanity projects like the tram. The city’s Conservative group warned the tram was unaffordable and it would affect services but were ignored. Now we know it will cost over £100m just to cancel the three-mile tram extension to Newhaven.
There are road works and road closures across the city in what is a Council run campaign on private motorists while the basic maintenance of residential streets is neglected. Weeds have grown out of control and vandalism continues to spread.
I am standing because I strongly believe the whole city is being badly served by the SNP-Labour Council, especially Craigentinny & Duddingston residents.
I have both the time and experience to give something back to our community and with your support I feel I could make a real difference.
I know how important it is that our area gets the representation and resources it deserves. I understand how Council issues matter here in Craigentinny & Duddingston and that's why listening to your needs will be my number one priority.
Whether it is campaigning for the return of local bus services or demanding the Council fix poor roads and pavements, I will work tirelessly alongside Cllr John McLellan for Craigentinny & Duddingston residents and deliver results for you.
Edinburgh has not become a better place to live since the SNP and Labour took over. I hope you will vote against this SNP-Labour Council and vote to change Edinburgh by supporting my candidacy.
