Burnshot Flyover Closed
The Burnshot Flyover across the A90 near the Cramond Brig has been closed to traffic since the end of last year after material fell from the bridge structure onto the dual-carriageway below. The closure order currently in place extends until July 2018 resulting in a significant detour for residents in the area travelling into the City Centre and beyond.
Speaking about the closure Graham Hutchison said, “The structural problems on the Burnshot Flyover are symptomatic of the failure of the current SNP/Labour administration to properly maintain critical infrastructure within the city. House building has been allowed to continue unabated in the area without thought for the ability of the existing roads and bridges to cope.”
Kirkliston Street Stall
Scottish Conservative candidate for Almond Ward Graham Hutchison was delighted to be joined by Councillor Lindsay Paterson for a street stall at the Kirkliston crossroads.
Graham said, “Lindsay and I have been working closely on local issues in the run up to May’s election and it was great to talk to so many members of the local community about the issues concerning them. If you have any issues or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
