Miles Briggs, Lothian MSP, is congratulating this year’s winners of the NHS Lothian Celebrating Success Awards including the Edinburgh Evening News’ Health Hero Tracey Pearson from the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. Miles has tabled a Parliamentary motion today commending the staff and volunteers who were honoured in the awards.
Speaking today Miles, who is the Shadow Minister for Public & Mental Health, said:
“I congratulate all those NHS Lothian staff members and volunteers who have been recognised in the Celebrating Success Awards 2017. So many individuals working and volunteering in our health service go above and beyond the call of duty each and every day to support patients and their relatives.
“It is entirely right that we recognise the outstanding contribution of these NHS Lothian staff and volunteers and showcase the best practice which exists in many areas.
“I commend the Edinburgh Evening News and other Lothian organisations for partnering with NHS Lothian to sponsor these awards and helping to highlight the individuals who make such a difference to the experience of patients using our health service.”
